  • Independence Day

    Photographs:  The 70th Independence Day was celebrated today in the school. The program started with the head boy and head girl escorting the founder manager Mr. S.R. Shamsi to unfurl the National flag. The singing of National Anthem began immediately after.

    Students of class VIII B presented a melodious song to express their joy and stirred the emotions of the spectators.

    The song was followed by inspiring speeches by Hasham Khan of IX A and Nazir Ghufran wherein they talked about love for the Motherland and duties of a citizen.

    Students of Class XI Comm. presented a group song remembering the sacrifices made by freedom fighters during the struggle.

    A street play by the students was the highlight of today’s event. In the play, evils of the Indian society were depicted in the most satirical form. The students also suggested ways to overpower those evils.

    The program ended with an inspiring address by Shamsi sir, he emphasized the need to stay united to defend the country from hatred and mistrust.

  • INVESTITURE CEREMONY AT SUNWAY

    Photopraphs: An investiture ceremony for the year 2016-17 was held today during the school assembly. 28 students were assigned duties during the ceremony. Honorable founder manager Mr. S.R. Shamsi pinned the badges to Head boy, Head girl, Dy. Head boy, Dy. Head girl, Sports captain, and school prefects.

    House Prefects, Captains, and Vice-captains of all the four houses (blue, green, red and yellow) were also pinned badges. During the program the office bearers were administered the oath and the ceremony ended on a note of resolution by the newly appointed post bearers.

    The Founder Manager Mr. S.R.Shamsi congratulated the students and guided them to excel in academics and co-curricular.

    This task is all about speaking without pause,without hesitation,without making any grammatical mistake......

    An objection can be raised by opppsing participants for repitition of words,speaking the same idea under different topics or taking much time to express the views. Students from class VIII A & B participated in this competition and enjoyed many rounds. It lasted for about an hour .Lets see who spoke out loud and left others speechless.

  • Road Safety Week Celebrated

    To create awareness among students regarding dangers of the road, Road Safety Week was celebrated from 11th Jan to 17th Jan.

    The entire week, students remained busy presenting Skits, competing in Quizes, Postermaking, Slogan writing, etc.

    Addl.S.P., A.D.M. and  A.R.T.O. Rampur  were invited during the event to update the students about risks the students face on roads 

    On the last day of the celebrations prizes were given away to the winning entries.

    Hindi Divas Celeb'ted on 14 Dec 13

    Hindi Divas was celebrated by the Deptt of Hindi on 14 Dec. 2013. The event started with a melodious and energetic welcome song, followed by enactment of different dramas written by classical hindi writers including those of Munshi Prem Chand. 

    Poems and Prose were recited from works of various hindi writers

    The event was was held from 12 :00 noon till 2:00 PM. All the students and staff had been invited.

    The program was carried under the guidance of Mrs. Rajinder Kaur. It culminated with the guidance, blessings and motivational words of Shamsi Sir.

    Urdu Day Celeb'd on Allama Iqbal's B'day

    To mark the b'day of the renowned Urdu poet, philosopher and freedom fighter the Urdu deptt celebrated 9th Nov as Urdu Day. Skits, Dramas and other activities were presented by the students. The event was witnessed by students, staff and select personalities affiliated to the field of Urdu Language.
